Evaluation
My target audience thought that my animation did not make much sense and lacked fluidity. The lighting was balanced and the shots were varied. However, my target audience did not feel that my animation was clear in its topic which was a anti bullying advert.
my stop motion animation did not use 25 frames per second which was the suggested frame rate for a fluid animation. In my group we did not take enough time and set up our set for a successful animation.
My initial idea for the final animation was two bullies picking on two younger and physically deceiving students. Which then creates a fight and concludes in the good students winning.
If I were to create another animation I would plan a better idea with less characters. I would create something simple, fluid and creative. In order to improve this animation it needs to be clear to the audience that it is an anti bullying campaign therefore I would have titles explaining information to the audience about what is happening. I would use music that evokes emotion. I would use clay characters and build a set using the backdrop of a play ground to make it clear that is an anti bullying advert. I would also make sure I use the appropriate frames per second. I would also use sound effects for actions such as punching to influence a realistic atmosphere within my animation.

1C COMPLETE FURTHER RESEARCH INTO TWO ANIMATIONS
1C complete further research into two animations.
Animation 1
Name of animation: Descendants (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4adEL21pEQ)
This animation was created using CGI animation, which is an acronym for computer generated imagery. The technique used was worked really well because it was appropriately used for the style of the short film. The animation had also kept quite a high production value, using a creative story-line, high resolution textures on very detailed 3D models. The animation itself was really well concentrated on, as the movement of the models replicating personified plants were very realistic and life-like. On the other hand making a very detailed animation such as this one can be very time consuming, which can serve as a negative aspect if you have any time limitations on the creation of the animation.
Animation 2
Name of animation: Magic water (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSzCLf8tjP4)
This animation was created using the technique of stop-motion. The animation itself was really well focused on, as each frame co-operated with each other to make the animation nice and smooth. The positive sides to this technique (for this type of project) is that high quality visual effects do not have to be included to sell the effect the creator was trying to produce for the audience. Instead all the visual effects can be hand made by the creator and altered within the shooting process of the film. The negative side to this type of animation/technique is that it is very time consuming and its very underused because of this factor. Also because the footage is shot with pictures instead of using video recording there is no audio to go with the footage. this results in either creating sound effects for it yourself or finding some online. Both ways are again time consuming and (as seen in this video) can result some sound effects having poor sound quality. This has a big effect on the production value of the movie and may put off some viewers of the film.
Animation 3
Name of animation: Animator vs Animation IV
This animation was created using 2D digital animation. This type of animation shares similarities between the positive and negative effects of stop-motion animation. However instead of taking pictures, each frame is drawn. Depending on the complexity of the animation or each frame determains how long the animation will take. The positive sides to this type of animation and the video are that its a very flexible technique and can be used for almost any genre of animation. The story towards the video is also very creative and the animation is very simple, but very creative. As seen in the video the creator uses a combination of real life of footage and the animation which serves as an example of how flexible this technique is.
